I am fascinated by the psychology of design. I relish the challenge of understanding the end user and then creating new, meaningful and appropriate user experiences. I also love Post-its.
I love a challenge and approach learning new skills with enthusiasm and determination. I have a great sense of adventure and never stop asking "Why" or "Why Not".
I am currently studying Industrial Design and Technology at Loughborough University. During my degree I have undertaken modules in User Experience Design, Prototyping, CAD, Sketching and Ergonomics.
Gained experience working to a live brief, creating sketch models and prototypes and testing them out on sponsor users. I spent time in the safety testing labs and on the manufacturing line so was able to see product development through from concept to creation.
In April 2015 I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation. It was an amazing experience and the toughest thing I've ever done.
I have had the opportunity to work across all 4 roles practiced within the studio, gaining invaluable skills in Design Research, UX Design, Visual Design and Front-end Development.
Created numerous successful social media marketing campaigns and high-quality visual designs for external clients to tight deadlines.
